everytime I try to go forward in the snow the ass end just slides out.  winter specialized tires, 90lb sand bag in the hatch, doesn't matter.

Try filling the tires with sand and water instead of air. We do that here to avoid sliding in mud. I suppose the same applies to the snow or you could chain up your tires.

thinking about getting snow socks for the tires because they are legal, I just don't know if it's a gimmick or not.  Plus chains on a 350z is a terrible idea

How do you put sand in your tires?

You make sure the valve is on the highest point possible. You remove the valve, put a funnel, fill the wheel with sand, put the valve back, and fill with air up to your desired pressure.
