that's not even the same generation as the first pic you posted :C, I was getting excited, but its still cool, id say take some parts from the dx car if he lets you, see if the seats are nicer, if it has a better gauge cluster (with tach) or what have you
that car will last you awhile but it wont stand out as much as the 1986 and before corollas

It's as close to the generation as I could find actually. The manual dates 1989 but those corollas don't look like this current one so I based it off of a 1986 instead of 89. Also the interior on the blue car is near flaw-less, it just needs a good cleaning as well, plus the DX behind it doesn't have a tach (all the cars back there were unlocked so I could tell) so yeah.

Also the reason I called it an 86 is because of the rear tail-lights. They aren't the rectangles of the 89 models, they're square like the 86 and before, so yeh.

When we get it I'll ask if we could use parts only if we need to, but the engine doesn't look like it needs any at all, it just needs a coolant resivoir and a battery (and an air-box but that isn't mandatory and the carb is brand new)

but yeh thanks

omg my jag failed state inspection because of play in rear wheel bearings.
and i literally just found out the IRS unit in XJ's is supposed to have a little bit of play in it.

I wish I knew that like three days ago

I wonder if there's enough parts to complete one full car here...

Heh. I'll get my brother to drive me out to buy it.

Just kidding, lol

Talking in the Car Thread, idk how many of you know this but, sometime ago my dad's Mustang got crash by someone behind him, his Mustang got totaled. So he decided he is going to go with on car. Which is a Honda Accord:

Originally that was going to be my car, but now there are different plans.

He quickly considered a Honda Coupe and we looked at 3 colors

The blue looked really nice, and mayyyyyy consider it

The green looks great too.. hm

And then I asked what a red would look like:

Looks pretty nice too!

Honestly I'm leaning towards blue and red, mayyybe towards the blue one more
What do you guys think?

look at this, a 1990 tercel hatchback fully converted into an electric car that runs on twelve car batteries and retains a 5 speed transmission somehow, im blown away, I hope that one day i can be half the man he is
