I remember when I had to put my dog down.
It was 3 days before Christmas and it was the first Christmas without him.
We let him suffer too long which was a mistake.

Anyways, the house was really quiet without him but now we have a new dog and a cat.
normally that feels like you're replacing the dead pet. I always get a cat a few years before the other one completes it's life so it doesn't feel like replacing it if you know what I mean.

My condolences, to loose any pet you are close to is depressing and very hard to cope with.

My mom hid the fact that one of my fish died two years ago. But she told me the next day.

Also we had to release the second one into the ocean.

I had two fish. I miss them...
