What gimmick was this?

If I remember correctly, Wii U had little to no advertisement, really.

The controller with the touchscreen
The original Wii had motion control...?

The console actually being built that way isn't really even a gimmick. It's the console.
It would be another thing to say the controller was awkward, but the console literally operates using the device.

And it uses an overclocked gamecube CPU just showing how different the console was built. It was a gamecube with motion controls.

Hmm, if I would ever get another console it'd be PS4, probably. I don't want to pay $59.99 every 12 months to play with my friends.

$60 a year is nothing

You know what, I don't feel like spending 3K for a PC with the same specs as the PS4, but the pricing of the PS4 is like...399? Works for me.

Thats a load of bullstuff

And the Wonderful 101 title.
And a fire emblem vs shin megami tensei
And Bayonetta 2
And probably a new Xenoblade
And Game and Wario

It's like you don't even bother to educate yourselves about gaming to make a point.
ok but i'm serious i don't honestly remember what console has this or that what does the wii u bring to the table for me as a consumer

the playstation 4 is better then the new Xbox in specs.

and it still sucks compared to even average prebuilt gaming PCs Lol.

sony sells consoles at about 100 dollar loss at retail day.
so I could roughly get an equivalent PC for 500 bucks.

the new consoles that aren't even out yet, are already 2 years behind the average comp.

PS4 can do PS3 games, right? and xbone can't do 360 games?

if so, and if GTA5 never came to PC (god forbid), i'd totally get a PS4.

Okay Im sick of all the people who bring PCs into these convos

Yeah they're better but that's not the question. hes asking if he should get a ps4 or an xbox one, meaning he probably cant afford a sick gaming computer that can keep up with the next generation of games

It shows the intelligence of people.  Bringing irrelevance into a topic.  Like car forums when people say "I only have $5,000, what should I get?  Honda or Toyota?"  and someone replies "Lambos are waaaaay better."

Lmfao for 3k you could get a computer like 5-10 times better

PS4 can't play ps3 games. it will be able to stream ps3 games from a server(while connected to online) though they will not add ever game, only a select few.
