i think 'joke' is a better word really
it was a nice 'joke' for awhile, and the 'joke' lasted long enough for it to sink in. not to mention episode 2 ended abruptly and there was a promise of more to come followed by a long period of silence. at this point i'd be surprised if anyone is still genuinely excited by the idea.
no kidding.
that's what I don't get about all the "confirmed" talk over the years.
of course there will be a hl3. we were promised it by a successful and still very active developer.
and they aren't just going to let the greatest game franchise in history end so abruptly for no reason Lol.
