Author Topic: Medieval Tavern/Inn  (Read 2992 times)

After months of toil, I finally finished my first big build. As you would assume from the topic title, it's a medieval tavern/inn. The building has seating for 28, 8 in the bar, and 20 by the tables. It also has 7 rooms for staying, 2 small rooms, 2 medium rooms, and a large one.

I don't want to ramble too much about the build itself, so here are some pictures of it. If you guys like it, I might host another public showcase of the build. Also, forgive my bad photographical skills, I'm not that great at taking pictures, I had no idea which parts were the best to show, and I probably misused DOF.

The bar area.

One of the larger rooms.

The exterior at dusk.

A view from the largest room's balcony.

Day shot of the exterior.

9.5/10, still kinda cube-shaped on the exterior but it's great overall

This is honestly something that confuses me a lot. What's wrong with having a build that has a rectangular shape, but isn't even one?

also this doesn't look very cubish to me

switch out jvs to leetzeros
otherwise 9/10

Could you send me a link to the mod?

i'm talking about the sides.

this build is rly cool

those chandeliers are amazing and beautiful and i commend the builder for making such :-)

still kinda cube-shaped on the exterior

basically this

its fine that its rectangular shaped, but you should have things draping from the sides, like lanterns or something. it makes it not so boring on the side. also, maybe add some window-sills that go over the exterior?

the keyword that this build is missing on the exterior is charm and little touches that make a whole lot of difference
