I made so little efforts to improve my economy because there was very little to fix.
You dug SFR neck-deep in debt. Don't try to downplay it. I don't see why I have to pound this into your skull that's seemingly thicker than the crust, but making all of those land expansions was a REEAAALLLY bad idea. You may produce biodiesel and other fuels relatively proficiently, but how much oil does it take to power the cargo ships that ship all the oil that you harvest?
It was a depression that got partially fixed by executing the governor of the Middle East and returning all the money he fished out of the treasury back into the ME, helping the Middle Eastern people by passing out food, creating jobs, etc., and also trading with my allies.
The debt I calculated even after you stated that not all your zones were habitated was not factoring that in. Now if you DID factor it in, supposing that the governor didn't spend any of that money (anyone to steal from a treasury in that manner would be one to spend it all on theirself, or put it into all kinds of investments that prevent the money from being withdrawn, unless by the investor), you would fill up a whole and still be neck-deep in debt. Realistically, you might get only a third of what the governor stole back, IF that.
If you think I'm criticizing for any reason of making you do bad in the RP, then you would be wrong. I want this RP to have progress done in a realistic way. What was that whole thing back there with the space ship landing? You said that you used a rocket in what you thought was a good method, I said no, that doesn't work. This is the part where I take the most issue. When I say what I use, you say "No jk they used UFA's method and they land safely." That's like if you had robots with lasers fighting tribal dudes, and the tribal dudes say "no jk we have lasers now and win yay us." Like what the forget? Roleplay it out, including losses, PLEASE. If you fail, roll with it. You've done this so many times already. Economy is stuff, to which you sell one colony and execute a guy for no returns or even a loss, and suddenly you're almost better. You're trading with one nation who has the potential for being advanced, and suddenly you feel like you have complete access to their technology. You did that whole rocket landing stuff. You shouldn't even have a colony up there at all.
Reality bites sometimes. If no ones gonna bring some sense into this thread, then I sure as hell will.
Do I like to play the reality reporter here? No, it's hell. I REALLY hope that you learn someday, somewhere through some experience that life is not just pluses, even in games, there are drawbacks, drawbacks to everything. No one, deserves ANYTHING that life offers. The fact is that life is there to reflect our choices, good and bad, and that we get what we work for. Sometimes even making the right choice is the worst one. Learn this and you will be all the more wiser.
