You look back at the man, a console rises from the desk quickly, along with a holoboard, "Just register yourself there, please."

For all who don't know, Shadium belongs to a branch of matter, called xanionic matter, as opposed to the fermionic matter that we see today. Shadium is an extremely dense and heavy gas that acts almost like a high-viscosity liquid. It drains light from enclosed spaces due to its unusual electromagnetic properties. In open spaces, it still drains light, and makes for a fake black hole look. To Shadinize something is to treat it with Shadium. Shadium will also drain electricity or Mutricity when it is too near to it. Helps protect against energy-based attacks.
TL;DR, Shadium drains light and Shadinized objects are objects coated with Shadium so that they look like a fake black hole.
