I doubt even 50% of new forum users read the general discussion rules.
And less than 20% of new players read all the rules the forum has.
I have to admit I'm one of them, and I got banned 1.5 years ago.
But since then, I have always stuck to the rules.

New users are expected to read the rules. It isn't the job of the admins to teach new users how to behave in their online community directly.

I went three or four years without getting banned.

It isn't that hard, the rules are posted. The admins do a fine job of moderating the forums. I've never been banned, and I've been around for almost 6 years. (Knocks on wood)
