hi nalas, i haven't, and i know you're probably joking, but they'd probably send me something cool!
i did an assignment for school where i wrote a letter to the embassy of iceland, and they sent me books and maps and stuff and a letter typed by hand from the leader of the embassy. so maybe if i send something to boeing, they'll send me info about it.

I would settle for making your airline regional, and expanding it as it garners enough revenue to buy more aircraft, fuel, and to lease hangars at bases of operations.

Keep in mind you'll have to pay pilots, maintenance crew, and a regular fee to airports in order to reserve parking spots for aircraft.

There are a lot of proponents to running an airline, even one that runs between three cities or less. It's a great dream to have, and I hope you achieve it; just keep the money matters in mind.

Boeing wouldn't do anything. They're an aircraft manufacturer.

Like I said, Boeing would wish you best at the most, but wouldn't do anything or give you any further information.

Then contact an airline company like Southwest, Airtran, something to help you with starting an airline company

Thanks.

I would actually start out regional - regional airlines are easier to maintain, and then if there's enough demand and there's enough passengers, and enough money of course, we'd expand.

I could pay for a portion of the costs.

You're joking.
I'm planning to go into a high-paying STEM job, but there are probably going to be hinderances.

why not start learning how to fly now? if you can pay for it its really easy to get flying lessons. like 10 kids that go to my school are learning how to fly right now

How old do you have to be to take flying lessons? And I don't really have the money..

im pretty sure you can start out pretty young. im still in highschool and pretty sure some of them started last year, so maybe 15 or 16 but im not sure, probably varies by state as well

Actually yes.
I can go into flight school at any time, provided I have the money. I have to be 14 to fly gliders/balloons, and I have to be 16 to fly solo in an aircraft and 17 to get my certificate, but if I manage to get 5,000 to 9,000 dollars, i can officially go to flight school.
