I apparently played Steel Storm: Burning Retribution for 3 hours.
I don't even know what the hell that is, I just got it in a Humble Bundle some time ago.

It says I've played maple story on steam for 112 hours which I really only played for 4 minutes lol.

I think mine is adding 18 hours, although it seems a bit sporadic and I obviously don't keep track to remember the original numbers.

I know for certain I didn't spend 41 hours total in Postal 2

For me, it removed my game time to 0.
so i couldn't brag about my 700 hours on TF2
But then Steam put my fantastic playtime back to normal.
