Author Topic: Watch Dogs has been delayed to Spring 2014  (Read 1334 times)

When a game gets delayed you need to understand that they are probably fixing issues, or adding more enjoyable stuff, and a delay to spring is awesome because that's quite a bit of development time.

what, isn't it already released? edit nvm that was sleeping dogs

am i the only person who has never heard of this game before

The game is finished but they need more time to make DLCs

Yeah, pretty much.

im sure they are just watering down all the awesome stuff you have seen in the gameplay footage.
all that freedom to do things as you please already looked way to linear in use just by what we HAVE seen. im sure they will give it that spore strategy.

Mother of god don't even say that.

I actually think it has to do with GTA V's release and how hilariously well it sold (however much of a long shot that hypothesis may be), which is a bit concerning.
Even Ubisoft are disappointed with their own game? :c

Ubisoft replied to a comment on Facebook and they said most of the people there played it, and enjoyed it, but they are not delaying it to avoid competition. Again, it is for more development time.

I hope they add more end-game content. Assassins Creed 3 had the Homestead missions, and the sea missions, but they weren't really all that fun, except for some ship missions.

The game isn't supposed to be about the missions. I hope if anything they're adding more varieties to hackable areas, different webcam apartments and the like.

I was really looking forward to this, but hey I think Watch Dogs could be one of the top games of next year. At least Ubisoft is very dedicated to making their games as good as they can be. I like that.
