Author Topic: 3 Games that I bought on steam that don't work.  (Read 858 times)

The games I bought are Counter Strike and Counter Strike: Condition Zero also Half Life: Opposing Force and they both can't crash without going through the loading screen. Can anybody help me? I would appreciate it. Thank you for reading.

All the games you listed appear to be recently ported to Mac. They probably need some time to fix bugs.

All the games you listed appear to be PC only. How are you playing them?
They are for Mac also. :o

I may be wrong, but don't you need a source game for these to work?

Nope.

CS and CS:CZ were very early ports thus should be working fine.  OPFor was relatively recent, but still should be working.  Try verifying the cache integrity.

they are standalone source games, so they work on their own

Tried that but it didn't help really. :c

are you getting a specific error?

You might need a newer version of OS X like 10.6 or 10.7

I've asked them several things and have always gotten correct, helpful answers within a day or two.

The weird thing is that why isn't it showing me any your OS doesn't support this game.
