Since the beginning of this month my Xbox 360 gave me a prompt to put in my Microsoft account username and password. Turns out, it decided to have a seizure instead of signing me in, so I just waited until something happens, then restarted the console. Everything works fine now.
One draw back is whenever I get to the Xbox Home or begin playing the game, my account signs out for some reason and I have to sign back in so I can play my games. I really didn't mind it.
Then this happened:
I started up Skyrim when I got signed out. When I signed back in, there was a message from the game saying I was signed out and must return to the main menu... when I was already at the main menu. I pressed A and it reloaded the main menu, but I got signed out again. By the time I signed back in, the game already given me the message to reload the main menu.
tl;dr: My console is putting me on a signing-out loop and I can't play Skyrim anymore because of it.found a bypass technique to sign in quick enough to play the game
Some things to keep in mind:
- I've been recently receiving notifications from Xbox saying that I need to input a code inorder to add security to my count... even though I already did that last month or so when the same exact message showed up.
- I'm not sure if this has an similar affect on any of my recently played games. I might check on them after some feedback is given to me.
- The game began doing the sign-out issue whenever I finished downloading the Grand Theft Auto Online update for GTA V on October 1st. I doubt the game or the update has anything to do with this, though.
- The issue involving Skyrim did not happen before. I played Skyrim multiple times without no account issues before this topic was posted and when my console began signing me out for stuff.
If anybody can possibly help me with this issue, please do.
I don't want to make one or more of my games a complete waste in the long run because my console decided to bend me over and forget my ass.
