why not have a legit windows one though, instead of some program

and the start button can't be the ONLY update...

It's not just some program, it messes around with actual registries or w/e to make it an actual part of the OS.

damnit, i had automatic updating turned off. i need to download 62 updates before i can download 8.1....

I feel.. confused.
I just want an .iso file with the .wim files and the .exe files and everything needed, but apparently I need a windows computer to put them together into one installation.
Can someone guide me to a link that has everything I need to put inside a USB for windows 7/vista for free? Thanks.
