I finally got a laptop for school...

But its Windows 8. Its horrible I hate it. There is no Start Button. Stupid Tile stuff. Im considering buying a new Windows 7 disk just because win8 is that bad.

Press windows + x to get a lot of the old features a lot faster (or if you have 8.1 right click the start button).

this one functions the same way. press windows button then start typing.
and there are other ways to do it. use the charms and click search.

it's really just a slightly faster windows 7 with a tablet-like screen added to it, i don't see why so much people hate it.

all those news sites that say windows 8 is incompatible with everything in existence is all bullstuff. i can run steam. i can play games, hell i can even play portal 2 and garry's mod. so stop your complaining.
