you shouldn't be running windows on a nokia phone in the first place
No, it crashes on everything.

It all depends on your experiences. I've never had problems with windows, and if I did, they were minor. I tried installing 2 different linux distros and I stuff myself. Four times.

No, it crashes on everything.
...no it doesn't
unless you download a stuffton of bloatware and other crap, or your hardware is equivalent to a 1990's IBM computer they used in grocery stores

Windows 8.1 refuses to install if you use a steelseries driver.  yeah, that's normal.  Plus, USB 3.0 support is complete garbage, half of my ports don't even work (they do on linux though, imagine that).

thats the drivers fault

Point is that it shouldn't be the case (also the USB 3.0 driver is Microsoft's, the manufacturer's, which had to be used for Windows 7, worked fine).  Drivers shouldn't affect if you can install an update.

Obviously nothing is ever the OS's fault. I have had 3 separate computers that had different problems with the OS freezing and not working properly but its NEVER the OS. Windows is obviously the OS equivalent of Jesus so it can NEVER do wrong.

All of my PCs have been mid to high end. And I don't install any stuffware either. Its funny that I don't have nearly as many problems with linux as I do with windows even though I use linux more and yet you insist the OS is perfect. You are obviously either full of stuff or you hardly ever use your computer when you say you have never had a problem with windows.

my hard drive has been running over 7000 hours, I got my computer 3 years ago, aka over 6 hours a day. yeah, not that much? Lol. my first crash/bluescreen was when i overclocked my graphics card too much. I like that you cant take the fact that I like windows more so you make handicapped assumptions
sorry im not going to install and learn a new whole operating system which cannot play most games and run a lot of things because windows crashed once or twice
ubuntu was a pain for me to use, I gave up on it after an hour
ill give steamos a chance though

Aaaand you people derail a thread once again. Good job, everyone!

loving stupid.

It's not only because windows crashes, it's because microsoft shouldn't have a monopoly on operating systems.  Why shouldn't the users be in control?  Why shouldn't the software be free?

This. Ugh, how did I know this would turn into an argument. Oh wait, it's the BL Forum. -_-

LOL you must be joking
I'm not.  With software so ubiquitous and even required to use a computer, why shouldn't the cost of entry be as low as possible?  Your browser is free, your media player is free, Steam is free, why isn't your operating system?
