Before I get murdered for saying that it's not a choice-

I just meant that it's something I think people have control over, not so much something that we consciously choose.
The thing I mentioned was that Jason Collins, the basketball player, is an identical twin and gay. His twin is straight as can be with a wife and family, which pretty much shows that it's not genetic

You cant just go and say, "I think I wanna be gay" one day and just be gay. The stuff just happens. I mean, you can choose whether or not to accept what you're feeling, but denying it would be silly (unless your religious or some stuff).

It's not completely unheard of for a gay man to marry a woman.

You can choose whether or not to act upon and believe your feelings.

I agree with you. Perhaps your body subconsciously chooses its loveuality during puberty through hormones? Is there a way we can measure how much testosterone and estrogen a person can have? Again, I know very little about biology, so I could be totally off.

You can choose whether or not to act upon and believe your feelings.

That's what I'm saying,

Assuming that I was going to take that website seriously I would say that identical twins aren't exact replicas of each other and their embryonic development can differ from each other. And no where in that article is the source of the supposed research linked to.
not to mention mutations can occur in one of the twins during their lifetime.

multiple separated-at-birth identical twins where one identifies as gay and the other identifies as heteroloveual would be needed, one twin study isn't a lot to go on

You can choose whether or not to act upon and believe your feelings.
That isn't the definition of actual loveual attraction, though.  We know for a fact that loveual attraction is genetic because it's required for any species to survive.  You can heighten loveual attraction through conscious behaviors, sure, but it isn't what actually defines the origin.

There's many things that have shown genetic links that don't occur 100% in one twin if it occurs in the other twin. The claim that "Because they have identical DNA, it ought to be 100%,” is BS.

And it doesn't matter what the cause is, all that matters in that whatever the cause it, it can't consciously be controlled. I really don't think all this effort in figuring out the cause matters; spend the effort on figuring out the cause of something that actually matters

Then it starts talking about that in teen years, a lot of teens who admitted to being gay, in a few years went back to being straight like it was some sort of social phase.

What is going on.
People who thought they were gay, people who were experimenting, biloveuals who decided they'd rather be with the opposite gender, people who were faking it for attention, etc

And yeah, as people have said, this is a religious website, and thus is not a good source for an issue such as this

actually there was a study that claimed being gay isn't genetic, rather it arises in the womb. that might explain the twin thing. it depends.

If someone finds the same love deliciously lovey then so be it.

Anyone who opposes same love relations to a point that involves forcing their opinion on someone else is a bad person, simply as that.
