Could I be a beta tester when this is finished? I can't wait!!!!!
Everyone would be able to play the demo with only Ansridge. I'll be posting it here in the thread whenever it's done, but to be honest I don't really know you and I'm only planning on letting close friends to be beta testers

anyway, I still need to finish the pistol drawing on to the player and him being able to shoot up and down while moving left and right, while in the air, and just staying in the same place. I'm too lazy to do that and the enemy AI so right now I'm just testing blood effects and death

so I did a pretty basic enemy AI where he just hops back and forth and shoots at you. I finished the blood effects and enemy death and now Kurt takes bullets, but he doesn't take damage because I haven't implemented his health yet.

The way guns will work is like, at first, there are basic weapons which are like the weakest weapons in the game, so Dr. Walker tells you not to keep them since they're not worth it. So around Ansridge you'll just be able to pickup any type of weapon like pistols, shotguns, SMGs, etc.

However after Ansridge you'll find guns worth keeping, and you'll be able to equip them at any time. No matter which player you are, you'll be able to access the same weapons at all time

So the weapons will always be the same but there are some who can use weapons better than others, because their stats are specialized in using them.

It'll look even better once I finish the HUD. I still need to add the other 3 abilities other than backflipping. That little icon below the health bar is the ability icon, and by hitting A you'll be able to toggle switch all of your abilities. I need to do dashing, wallkicking, and strafing.

Oh also as you can see I've fixed all of the doorless houses and they all have interiors, except the one with a poster. Aand now the MC's face changes as they hold a weapon and they twitch when they get damaged.

I think it's alright tho, but thanks because I realized there are a few errors with the damaged portrait because the borders forget up and so do some of the colors

either way the first level is practically done I just need to do like the ending transition with the victory tune and all your stats and blah but wow I need some ideas because I can't come up with a good concept for that

either I've started with some tilesets and bg's for the second level which takes place in a mossy section of the first world
