Recently, GMG (Green Man Gaming) sponsored the Golden Joystick Awards 2013, and made some sort of offer on two games, Mafia II and Civ 5...

FOR FREE.

So, I got Mafia II, and since I bet some of you have played it before me, so I wonder...

Is it a good game? Please be honest.

It depends what games you like really, but i prefer mafia 2 to civ 5.

Mafia 2 feels very incomplete, and not even the DLCs can rectify that. Otherwise, if you can get it for free on the GMG promotion, go for it!

It's worth it 100%. I have it, and I love it. It's one of the few games on Steam which I love. Mafia 2 makes you feel like you are in the 50's, the story-line is heartwarming and incredible, the soundtrack is simply the best, graphics are beautiful, everything about it is perfect.

Still playing it from when I got it for free. loving fantastic, quite literally GTA in the 50s as some people described.

Yeah, from what I heard they were going to add lots more functionality but were cut short on time.

Otherwise it is an excellent game. I've played it for hours and hours and hours.
