Now dropping it will shatter the entire device instead of just the screen!
Lol. Funny thing is, I've dropped both my iPods multiple times on many surfaces, both with and without cases, and even down entire flights of stairs, but never a break or an issue. I guess I'm just lucky?
The retina display isn't bad at all, I just disagree with Apple's sort of indirect "simplicity and beauty over functionality" philosophy.
They're putting their focus in making things look better, but on the inside, it's all still the same and advancing much slower than the outside appearance of their products.
I agree, to a point. It's just their way of marketing, and it works for them. So if you have a problem with it, I say, then don't buy their products. (Last sentence not directed at you, Kingdaro.) And the software is good at what it does, IMO, and I sometimes wish it could do more, but I must point out, even though they do have their turn-offs, iOS and OS X are both stable, easy to look at, fairly intuitive, and inexpensive (iOS obviously, but Mac OS X is only $20). And above all, they do their jobs. So I won't complain.
