Implying this "faith" isn't literally looking right at something physical. The entire UI on the devices look like they're vectored (and in some cases they are).

I looked and it was still not what you portray it to be. I repeat my self, if you think the retina display is impressive, then you quite clearly have never looked at a nice samsung TV/Phone/Tablet

I can't vouch for any of the new laptops or desktops Apple has put out (and frankly I don't care for them purely because of the OS).

what? 264ppi? Thats terrible. This thing costs more than my phone and my phone has 441ppi.

Retina displays are stuff. My phone which is only 1920x1080 has a higher pixel density and costs less - oh, and it looks better.

Oh and that last part about a magnifying glass is also bullstuff.
441ppi you can see pixels at 7.8"

But having that pixel density is generally useless and you're just wasting cpu/gpu/battery at that point.  Using the retina iPads at a reasonable distance (unlike you, I don't get within licking distance to use a goddamn phone or tablet) is great (also apple totally started the trend of high pixel densities, and they needed a term to give the general public to easily convey this.  '264 ppi' doesn't really roll off the tongue).  Also is the panel an IPS?  I'm legitimately wondering, not going for a gotcha type argument.

kind of like how the term "high definition" istarted as a television term. because people were to handicapped to know what resolution means and how it differs. they literally just named it something that implied it was better looking.

apple does this with nearly alllll computer terminology Lol. that's why you have guys here saying specs don't matter, you gotta experience it to see the greatness.

I only have ever used Windows computers since I was 7 but because I have a hand-me-down iPad 1 and an iPhone 4 therefore I'm computer incompetent???
