computer monitor is greater then nearly allllll existing TVs.

a monitor is, essentially, the same goddamn loving thing as a tv,
save for the post-processing made to make TV shows look better that you can turn off in most cases and the lag associated with the large panel. in fact, HDMI is the same as VGA, just with additional audio stuff.  

Sorry I don't slam Apple because I don't have to sort out six driver issues upon setup of one of their products.  I didn't know that this made me literally mentally handicapped and a market driven sheeple.  Also admiring their ability to market a product and get the public caring about something such as pixel density or smartphones in general is against the church of PC gamers so I'll just hand in my green leds and piss-yellow glasses.

just want to say, not really.  using VGA instead of DVI-D on my current monitor is more blurry, VGA is very old it can't carry the same clarity.  this is versus DVI-D though, not HDMI, but i think versus HDMI it would still be sharper than VGA.

Really, I don't think the point is to impress at this point, it's really to say "the ipad mini looks a bit less stuff this time around".  (though I still don't get the point of a 1080p phone)

people have been grabbing at so many sticks I don't even understand how it led to the differences between a TV and a Monitor (fun fact: a tv has to be able to receive television shows, or else it is just a giant monitor)

So lets do a day by comparison of my Galaxy S4 vs. my friends iPhone 5
The day starts, it took me a little under half an hour to charge my phone from 5% to 100%, he said he charges it overnight and 99% of the time it is at 90+% in the morning

We are in the same spot, same provider, same IP address (doing a quick test). Who has faster cell reception? Oh thats weird
the GS4 does (hint: it's not weird)

The day starts, and begins to end, we would only play the same games, text at the same time, etc. we really had a parelleled usage
i ofc come out with 40% battery and him with ~23% (can't remember #).

We asked people which had a better quality picture, not showing the rest of the phone only the screen (showing the same picture), and only 1 out of 10-15 (once again, dont have the #s) said the iPhone5S.

There is literally no argument you can make:
Apple Products cost more, you get less, they have a shorter battery life, their screens are inferior, their audio is inferior, their general technology is inferior. They still haven't loving implemented widgets and you can clearly see them stealing features from other phones at this point. Sometime soon the phone makers are gonna start suing lol.

The school you go to doesn't have a good grasp of technology, since 90% of us will be using Windows when we grow up.
Before 6th grade in my school district, all the students used Macs, but during middle school, they used Windows computers.
I think that's good, since Macs teach the basic concepts of computers, and Windows is preperation for everyday usage.

Not true. Most people I know and even me, when I was younger we only used not functional Dell's and now almost all schools here use Macs.

I buy Apple products because I'm not poor and can afford both a Windows desktop and Apple laptop.


But really I prefer to do my development work in the Mac OS environment or at least on some other *nix variant. Windows is a very very distant last choice. The only reason I even have a Windows PC is for games and that's been changing the last few years.
