A cheap remake of the events has been made by Spaceguy.
I don't know why he did it, should have just waited for v9, because his are buggy, have a big delay, and can crash servers easily.

We aren't missing out. Badspot is still developing v9 and all of its wonderous features.
To go with your metaphor, we haven't decided to go with the 3.3 minute ice cream man and his 1 scoop. We are still waiting on that 10 minute, 3-scoop cone. But a nice man in the shop gave us a little bit of what he had left, empathizing with us. It isn't much, it's not too great either, but it's a nice way to hold us off from going crazy for the 3-scoop cone intended for us.

Well, I'm not entirely sure. I don't have the code to either, and I probably won't ever get a chance to look at Badspot's. But I'm pretty sure they won't interfere with eachother. In any case, you'll probably want to re-install all your mods when v9 comes out, it's a big update, and a great time to clear out bloated mod folders. It will obsolete a few mods too.

You can have both in this case. We can use Space's "1 scoop" as well as Badspot's "3 scoops." Space Guy's mod isn't hindering the release of anything.
It's just silly to miss out on this great mod because you want to wait for an official one.
