Nah, that's dumb. Furling's grammar is weird because he's transcribing grammar from ASL, which doesn't have the same grammatical conventions as English.
Read something like clonetrooper's fake country thread, or an excerpt from IcyGamma's totally-not-autobiography.
yeah, I understand that about Furling, and I don't want to hold that against him as a person
HOWEVER there is a point at which I realized it wasn't just him being deaf
being deaf doesn't make you talk about pinky back doors and mega huge rooster rapings
