The rhythm games stated all have significant, distinct differences from one another. The only similarity is that they involve hitting beats to a rhythm, which is literally how a rhythm game is defined, so I don't know what the hell you're talking about.
Exactly. The gameplay is different for each game.
Taiko Drum Master/No Tatsujin involes hitting a drum with 2 sticks. The middle of the drum does red notes (don), and the rim does blue notes (kat).
Beatmania involves using 5-7 keys, and a record/scratch spinner.
Pop n' Music is LIKE Beatmania, but uses 5, 7, or 9 keys, and no scratch.
Each one is different.
