Author Topic: The yearly post: Random Weapon Assignments script - thank you based Truce  (Read 2472 times)

Would anyone please be willing to make and release a script that randomly assigns players weapons each time they spawn? Like from a server DrenDran used to host forever ago, if anyone remembers. It'd be very handy if the selection of weapons could be easily adjusted per each slot, perhaps with RTB Prefs or a custom GUI.
it'd be just as acceptable to have to randomly edit the script itself to put in what items are in the randomizer, whatever works really
with the dawn of bushi's quake weapons, i need this more than ever to host well with them

are you looking for a gui? I can make a terrible looking one and I can make the script. is the randomizer script /that/ hard to get?

I've been wanting this for forever.

i've only seen it twice and in both cases it was private
if you can make a gui, that'd be swell, but i'm mostly just looking for the basic script

offering lewinskys to whoever makes this

I still have mine from 2011: http://blockland.basically.gg/Script_ItemRandomizer.zip

The first time the add-on is enabled it'll set up the following files:
config/server/ItemRandomizer/primary.txt
config/server/ItemRandomizer/secondary.txt
config/server/ItemRandomizer/melee.txt
config/server/ItemRandomizer/misc1.txt
config/server/ItemRandomizer/misc2.txt

Put the uiName of the items you want for each slot on their own line (can be done while server is running).

Is it possible to do this but have random items spawn on bricks? And can there be a GUI to select which weapons you don't want to spawn/want to spawn?

hey truce does this work with slayer?
