unpopular opinion here but i personally think there was a falling out between the two
like it may or may not be sorted out now but i dont believe jon left just because he wanted to focus on jontron
he even said that gg wasnt the reason jontrons werent coming out in an episode iirc

It's not really an unpopular opinion, a lot of people believe this. Personally what I think happened was just a business disagreement on where to take Game Grumps and things may have gotten a little heated, but they're more than likely trying to sort things out and maybe patch things up.

i hope jon doesn't go back because A. game grumps isn't funny anymore and B. we would have to wait another decade for a new video

It's not like Jon spends every moment he's awake to work on a new video, i doubt spending some time to play games with Arin would severely affect his progress

The Game Grumps maybe play about a few hours or so and then cut those up into ~10 minute videos, Jon's got time to do an episode or two while he takes a break from working on a video
