Lost power and couldn't leave my driveway because a tree crashed at the end of it during Irene.

During sandy I lost power for 9 days

A bird died outside of my house
Thats all that happened for me, and I dont think a hurricane killed a bird on the other side of the atlantic.

Sandy was awful. It took us 3 days to get power back, it was a nice surprise when we went out for pizza, and came back when the power went back on.
