he's actually way too clever for this stuff.there's three ways this could have actually went down1: ephi fakes the logs. there is no way to verify this is happening on our end, nor is there any way to prove it happened2: someone spoofed hammer's ip; this is possible and not very hard (see the "background section") http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/IP_address_spoofing3: hammer actually tried to dos ephi's servers using his home connection, which somehow managed to actually cause lag.4. someone else launched a DDoS (yes, distributed) at ephi, using hammer's ip, to cause hammer to get banned: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denial-of-service_attack#.28S.29SYN_floodI don't think hammer is stupid enough nor malicious enough for #3.We have no way to prove or disprove #12 and 4 are almost the same, but, in my opinion, the most likely.
