Author Topic: ads are invading and idk how it started  (Read 1243 times)

i havent downloaded anything, i havent joined any new websites, and now..
and every once in a while if i click on a link an ad pops up and it's annoying

what do?

Funny, because my AdBlock isn't working either.

I had this same problem on my laptop, those links are so annoying.

Go to the windows uninstaller and look for a program called "savebig.exe" or something like that

Also use windows defender and do a full scan.

probably the most aggravating form of adware

do a system restore then run a virus scan

Daum that is worse then the version I had with the links.

But not as bad as dimming the entire screen and playing a popup video every time I load a page

go to chrome://extensions/ and see if there is anything there

Ah, found the extension that did it.
It had no name (somehow) but the logo was like some kind of squashed bug.
