Author Topic: Stocking - Trying harder than usual  (Read 40667 times)

The only problem Regolus (and I) had was with Stocking. It had nothing to do with civilians. Oh, and for those who keep throwing around "civilian" as if we're using it in some sore of derogatory way (even though I haven't even used the word), take a look at the definition.

Yep. That's derogatory. People really blow stuff out of proportion. It's like that game where something is whispered from person to person and when they get to the last person, it's completely different.

Calling the users of a forum civilians is still not exactly proper etiquette.

Bones is like Super Morgan Freeman.

Bloody Mary is not in the armed services or the police force.

Ouch. You're right. Offensive.

insert navy SEAL copypasta here?

Who are you anyway?

Someone dragged into bullstuff sorry I dont have credibility on these awesome forums.

calling the forum users civilians is like yelling at sheep for being hooved

But the distinction means very little. 99% of this forum is technically composed of civilians; there is little need to point it out.

No like, are you just some random person who wandered onto the forums, or have you had an account before?

Original id 14706 so no I didnt randomly appear.

I think you missed the part where I never called anyone a civilian.

And again...  I do not see how that is offensive. I've literally never heard of anyone taking offense to it.

While we're using brown townogies, taking offense to being called a civilian is like being angry because someone told you that you aren't a doctor. How rude! (I know how you like to dissect posts. I'm not comparing myself to a doctor. It's just an brown townogy)
