it's not like a rule rule

It's more like a guideline. Making an error, such as weird hips, isn't breaking a guideline, whereas using color outlines is sort of like having an anime character in a western cartoon. It's not that the character looks bad, it's that it breaks the author's intended style.

I got no problem with characters not having the black outline. It's the plot, that matters

AN IMPORTANT QUESTION RELATED TO CHARACTER SPRITES!

How many of you would like to see some better-quality sprites? I have been playing around with some old Fire Emblem 7 and 8 sprites and I think they would fit pretty well in this adventure. Of course the background quality and everything else will get better aswell, but this is just mainly about the characters. I can try my best in remaking them using the FE spirtes as bases, or you can have a go yourself and PM me the new sprite. Here are some examples:


(These are pretty much just quick recolors, except for Artemis' hat and Kino's scarf (which was a cape, that i couldnt completely remove)
