There are two kinds of people: those who feel the need to tell everyone everything that happens in their life, and those who actually know that it's no one's business but their own, and that others probably aren't going to care all that much.
Though the case of the "second kind of person" won't apply in all cases, and that's just me.
On the subject of the topic, as bejacks stated, Off-topic isn't really a blog and shouldn't be treated as such imo. We have tumblr for that sort of thing.
