What is this?Lovely Planet is an abstract 1st person shooter game, as mentioned in the title.
A brief idea of the game [Credit to http://www.quicktequila.com/lovelyplanet.html]:With boots of speed on your feet, an infinite supply of bullets for your semi-automatic and the ability to jump over twice your own height, you're well equipped to go up against any enemy on your quest. The gameplay, should you choose to play a particular style, doesn't involve camping at cover spots and waiting for enemies to pop out. You'll find yourself trying to balance between jumping around dodging bullets and taking aim for a better shot at your enemies. Defeat the baddies and avoid the onslaught of bullets to get to the next stage - perhaps it's a kind of play not suited for a 3D First Person Shooter game, but Lovely Planet hopes to translate the old formula into a version of its own anyway.
Who made this game?An indie game developer known by the name/nickname of "Vidhvat". He is the only person working on this at the moment.
What is the status of this game?Lovely Planet is expected to release soon, for the PC and Mac platform - and Linux later on.

It will be a bit short with only 5 levels (and probably more), but it has a lot to offer with it's minimalistic graphical style, and storyline. It has not been talked about yet on whether it will be free or not, but judging so far, I think it will be.
