Why? What do you get? Please, help me illuminate these strange desires of theirs.
they do it because posts like this make them feel like they've won. they know they've aggravated and irritated a large portion of the community. they're taking their anger that they have towards badspot, ephi, etc and making everyone else feel it as well ie: "Now YOU know how it feels!"
They know that we can't do anything about it. We can talk and say "haa your SO insignificant ha we so aren't mad" but they know there are people who are mad and that it IS affecting and annoying others. they do it because they feel like they have power over everyone else, and they feel like it's making their message clear.
i'm not going to lie, I am annoyed by this. i want to be able to host my server from RTB hosting but now I can't. I paid for the service and it's aggravating me that one kid can shut all this stuff down and there's nothing we can do. i can't just ban him like i do all the other brats, i can't just mute him or kick him and continue hosting. this is one time where stupid forums drama that i normally don't give a stuff about is actually affecting me in-game.
I hope that you guys figure out a way to stop stuff like this, because if the game "goes big" like everyone says they want it to, attacks like this will increase in strength and frequency, and we clearly can't handle them.
