the thing I hate about game maker's sprite editor (aside from throwing an error at me every time i switch tools too fast after drawing/erasing/whatever) is that it DOESN'T HAVE A BOX TO ENTER HEX COLOR

or even regular RGB color value, i don't care
it's so much easier than trying to pick it out of that tiny little box or copy/pasting the color from another image editor or something

I use MSpaint/Paint Dot Net for sprites.

Wait, seriously?  Clicking on the box that shows the color you're using won't let you edit it manually?  In Game Maker 8 and under it brings up the Windows color dialogue, but maybe that feature was dropped in whatever version you're using.

I tried to make a sprite once, epic failure. Anyone have any good sprite making programs?

Aseprite is good if you're into pixel art.

You totally missed the flappy jam though.

So I wanna make a 2d monowheel steampunky thing
but I'm bad at everything and I have this terrible feeling that even if I did make it it would be boring
but I like monowheels a lot
so idk

Any game mechanic ideas?

working on this in love2d but i'm starting to realize that it's not really my forte
