Sometimes I feel like they could be more upbeat though, like a little more exciting.

This is really good O: I absolutely love the bass added to the song. It adds a lot of the depth it was missing. It seems well done so far. The only thing I can think of was that at some points the snare from the original seemed out of place after the drop. Personally, I would remove it so that the song flows a bit smoother (I can always send you a snare-less version)

Also: what do you use to make your music? The quality is fantastic.

I use FL Studio. Lots of plug ins, mostly Massive. Also i'm glad you liked it :D
I'm thinking of redoing the drop a bit, it's usually takes me a while to get it right. I experiment a lot the first few times.

So I had a generous stroke of creativity and inspiration this afternoon and was able to make 1:20 worth of musac. Hopefully it'll turn into a whole song. I did some light mixing and mastering for SC.
