Well, I didn't make the cut, but I still like my submission. http://soundcloud.com/lloid-1/high-strung

i wrote a patch on my synth that sounds like ambient traffic. here's a really quiet video of it:

I wasn't sure where to post this but this seems like the most relevant topic since it's sounds coming from a synth lol

I've been wanting to make a serious track since I haven't in a while, so here's a simple ambient track: https://electrk.bandcamp.com/track/waiting-for-something-to-happen

ppl who work with ableton, lend me your eyes:

you see, i have a project set up in ableton. i would like to record this project and have it exported to a sound file that i am able to upload somewhere. from what im reading on the internet, in order to do that, i need to first play my project in session view, switch it over to arrangement view, do some other stuff i havent bothered reading yet, and then i guess im supposed to have a .wav file in the end of everything

my question is: is there any easier way to do this? if this is the set in stone way then ill figure it out but i remember at one point i used to be able to record audio on audacity straight from anything on my computer. so say if i wanted to record something, i would literally just have to hit record on audacity, play what it is im playing in ableton, and boom i have an mp3 of what it was i needed. from what ive gathered, it had something to do with the kind of speakers i had at the time. idk what make they were but the ones i currently have are kardon soundsticks and they cant record a single thing from the computer. is there any way i can make it this easy or do i have to go with abletons route?

Something I started after a few months of nothing
