i wanted to keep the original audio as unchanged as possible... even though i'm remixing it lol. that huge drop in tempo is kinda exaggerated though. it's in sync, but instead of what are supposed to be 1/4 notes i perceived them as 1/2 notes so i went with like 25 bpm when i could have settled for 50

tried my hand at some vaporwave inspired stuff

i'm still a little rusty at keyboard so idk

I finally figured out how to do random stuff. Here's a project. Drum fill is from the most excellent song Genghis Khan by Miike Snow. It's pretty easy to grab individual bits from it too using edison.
EDIT: Whoops, it's turning into a remix of Classic

Sounds cute. Not sure if there's a better word for it. Like it could be the intro for some sort of brightly-colored quirky indie platformer.

Katadeus what the forget this is super good. Like, for real. Really digging that sub bass. And I don't even like synthwave, haha.

i have this problem now where ill start making covers for songs i like
and then i realize i know practically nothing outside of the catchy part
and when i do know stuff i cant put it all down because adjusting it to match with the last pattern's tempo and making background parts is hard af
so im just gonna start posting random doodles to soundcloud for when this type of stuff happens

some song is better than no song imo

I remember a long time ago a bunch of people got together and made a Blockland Forums collab album or something.

We should try doing something like that again.
