I am kinda new to music production and composition, with only a few months' experience. I mainly play the guitar and recently I've started composing my own music to be played on guitar.
This is my first time posting in this thread.

This track is almost complete, with just some mistakes I made. I want your opinion on it.

I might share more.

It's nice! It's ok if the melody is a bit repetitive in much of DnB, because you can make up for it with effects and complex drum patterns. After listening to hundreds upon hundreds of DnB songs, I came to this general conclusion: what works best is usually a) a complex beat with lots of breaks, mixed in with samples and chopped (or sometimes un-chopped) vocals with a simple melody (sometimes almost non-existant) and a nice leading bass OR b) a really nice melody with a lot fewer effects and generally a simplified beat and bass pattern.

Obviously, take all that with a grain of salt, as I am by no means a music expert; this is just taken from my personal listening experience and the experience I've gained from making a good number of DnB songs myself. Keep up the good work! :)

tell me what you guys think :)
I don't usually like house music, but this is good!

Here's a short guitar composition I made with broken chords:

It's the first piece I've ever made. I want opinions.

I liked it, but maybe work on the timing a bit? If that's too much to ask at the moment, you could shorten the gaps in Audacity (select and delete) so that the different parts blend together better.

I'm really going to try to get a lot of music done this year, I'm tired of seeing my projects sit in the dark.

This probably isn't your guys' cup of tea but it counts as a cover I suppose.
