what to do with a xbox live 12 month gold card

so my brother used to have an xbox 360 until he sold it a few years ago. while cleaning out my room i found an old xbox live card for 12 months that I wanted to use for it. its worth pretty good afaik. what should i do with it? is there some site where you can trade it in or something?
