Unfortunately, so is "Jurassic World".

This is still awesome.

The blood was already being digested so the DNA would be too forgeted up to clone.

Actually DNA has a half life of about 512 years so it wouldn't work.

even with a short half life that doesn't mean that the dna is unrecoverable, since the amount that decays slows exponentially

still even if it was only 2000 years it would still be four times longer than its half life and you'd wind up with a very small percentage intact
