how'd that work?

how'd that work?

There was a thing where you could recover a Steam account by providing the serial key of a game registered on the account to prove it was yours. So if someone gave you a key and you entered it, they were able to reset your password or something by contacting support with the key. I don't know if their protocol was changed about this but I remember reading a lot of news about it awhile ago when it first came up.

Canto xe has been consistently based in greece as far back as 2008.  He's a separate person.

Pacnet / hammereditor (functionally they are the same person) launched an unsophisticated attack on the RTB server from his own ip address.  He has launched similar attacks on the Blockland forums in the past.  He has been banned on upwards of 5 accounts for attacking servers and generally being an starfish.  He has been chat flooding Blockland servers.  Regardless of who is responsible for the latest DDoS attacks, pacnet/hammereditor is never going to be unbanned.
