Author Topic: Can I be a Youtube partner if I'm under 18?  (Read 2301 times)

I am 14 years old, and I enabled monetization only to be able to live stream. I don't want any money out of my videos, I disabled all ads on my videos. I just want to stream. I enabled monetization but live streaming is still "ineligible". I have no strikes against my account.

you cannot be a partner until you make good videos.

the thing about being a YouTube partner is you need quality and quantity

Words of wisdom

I make videos on occasion, I'd just like to livestream through.

its true though, no network will accept you if you have no/stuffty videos

i have monetized videos and i'm 13

(I also have no idea how monetized videos work so forget me)

basically you're earning 0.000001¢ a video so its not really worth much unless you get lots of views

youtube doesn't actually care. you probably have to enter a certain age but just lie. they wont investigate or anything.

i can stream and I'm not 18

It says live streaming is "ineligible", even though I have no strikes and i'm a partner.

apparently i can apply for livestreaming, even though 99% of my videos are copyrighted.

I have no option to apply, just to "learn more"
