How do you get new characters?

There are certain tasks you have to complete

If you go to the achievements tab on the stats page and scroll over to "Characters" you'll see what you have to do

Me and Otis beat it finally we had like 3 items each too we just speedran it last boss was kinda hard but I was engineer and he HATES the turrets so I just waited until I had turret then why he stood there and beat on it I would spam nades.

We then proceeded to get destroyed by 4-5 Cremators that spawned around the same time on the next level
