Is it really something that deserves to be illegal though? Provided both parties are consenting, even if one may see it as immoral, why should it be illegal? By legalizing it, we can make it safer for those who do have to resort to prostitution.

Government isn't based on religion, so ideally people wouldn't base their political opinions on it, although I respect your right to do so. Granted, so many things are already legal in America that violate various religions, so what's the harm in adding one more?

That's a very skewed sort of look at it. If you want to get a wife before you have love, go ahead but it should be up to the individual what they want to do.

i'm 13 and i know that there wouldn't be any riots, and why would you need to have a wife to have love

because your religion says its bad ≠ bad things would happen if it was ok

like saying that gay people will cause riots n' stuff, it hasn't happened, never will
nevada's had prostitution legal since a really long time ago and it's not full of riots or murder
