Author Topic: "Perfect" Movies  (Read 3742 times)

I'm going to mid shift so I'm trying to compile a list of good movies to watch since all my free time will be when there's nothing to do.

These are the suggestions as of now. Opinions?

The Deer Hunter
One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
American History X
Cool Hand Luke
Taxi Driver
There Will Be Blood
Mr. Nobody
Reservoir Dogs
Requiem for a Dream
Das Boot
The Godfather
Goodfellas

7 psychopaths
Pan's labyrinth
End of watch
Side effects
Edit: also, The Raid: Redemption

All very good movies.

Real Steel
Judge Dredd
Empire Strikes Back
2001: A Space Odyssey
Intolerance

friends with benefits
forgetting sarah marshall

The Godfather is always good

Death Wish 1-5, the 3rd one is the best. Death Wish is an action crime movie series starring Charles Bronson who starred in many old 60's western movies.

Cinema sins killed any belief of mine that movies could be perfect

Also I feel like I live under a rock because I don't know what more than half of these movies are

cloud atlas and the truman show are both high up in my favorite movies.

A Bridge Too Far
The Great Escape
Kelly's Hero's
The Dirty Dozen
The Big Red One

Thats a few of the classic WWII movies. If you don't really want to watch them all, I recommend "A Bridge Too Far"-- Its one of the best movies Ive seen.

Also have you seen The Sandlot?
