Author Topic: white supremacist finds out he's 14% black  (Read 2727 times)

Nobody was 100% anything to begin with. We're all linked to something.
We are all from Africa, but we did become very different from one another.
So different that it was quite easy to distinguish races from one another.

the amount of melanin in someone's skin + their location
What makes the color of someone's skin a race, but the color of someone's hair not considered a race?
It's completly constructed by socicity, there's no biological basis for it.

On another topic, if he's 14% black, what is fourteen percent of the word "monday"?
Does that mean he can call a black guy a "ni" and get away with it?

That was funny. But the first comment made me lose IQ points.

I'm from Germany and Ireland actually.

But without races how are we meant to tell the bad ones?

Yes there is, actually. If there were no "race" as you recall, I don't expect how people survived UV rays, lol. It's actually biologically significant because being black or white or yellow kinda has to do with who you mate with and where you live. It's not a social construct. If so, then water must be loving constructed by society.

Are you dense mate?
Just because a certain geneitic adaptation is beneficial does not mean its members are of a separate race.
There's all kinds and shades of skin color, and the lines people draw between them are completly arbitrary.
A hundred years ago (give or take) irish people were more or less considered black.

I have blue eyes, blue eyes are more sensitive to light. Therefore I am of a separate race than those people who are unforunate enough to have brown eyes. Yeah master race woo

Race is a classification system used to categorize humans into large and distinct populations or groups by anatomical, cultural, ethnic, genetic, geographical, historical, linguistic, religious, or social affiliation.

Okay, race is a social construct.

Didn't stop people from doing half the race-related atrocities they did.

Yes. Completely constructed by people.

Exactly. And races aren't natural things. They're man made and change constantly with public opinion. They just happen to be based on skin color.

kay

what the forget is that bitch wearing on her head

Then the the whole genus thing is not natural?

It's a classification thing, it isn't really society's creation. It's what people use.

i can argue that race is not a thing, but i don't care for the actual problems that race has caused throughout history

A classification thing made by people.
It's not like mother nature came out of the ground and told everybody that people were different races. People are just people, races are a classification created by people for people.

I'd argue that race is no more a social construct than eye color. It is largely to do with who your ancestors mated with and where they lived. Since globalization, race has become a lot harder to pin down, because it's not as hard to move to meet people of different races.
