I had mine for 2 years and the most that went wrong was a rubber band popped out while I was eating an apple

I have no idea how the brackets are breaking. I was just talking with my friend and I heard a popping noise and it turned out to be my bracket. They just sort of fall off for some reason. It's rather the bonding agent under the bracket is too weak or the braces are getting tightened so much that the brackets are literally getting ripped out of my mouth.

one of my brackets popped off after my braces were tightened but they glued it on and it never happened again

they said there wasn't any bonding agent on the bracket or my tooth so they dunno what happened

I've had mine for 3 years and I'm getting them off this weekend. My friend has had his for nearly 6 years cause of severe issues and doesn't look like they're coming off anytime soon. Just deal with it man. It'll pass eventually.

I had braces for 4 years, throughout high school. Got 'em off last December, that was pretty sick.

My brother had braces for 2 years, and he hated them. I am very grateful that I have had decently aligned teeth, though. Braces costed my dad over four thousand dollars for my brother, and to get them cleaned, fixed, or anything which involves 'care' for the braces at checkups or visits costed even more. The sad part is that we're insured, and they barely cover the costs.

Wow OP you must have had a stuff orthodontist. I've had mine since June, get mine off in a year and 9 months (from June, so a year and like 4 months) only had 1 bracket come loose, no poking wires, it's all good actually. Oh and tightening is a pain in the ass. It's like having a toothache on every one of your loving teeth.
